The teachings of the Prophet of Islam and his exemplary way of living show that he not only projected the ‘concept of peace’, but that he was also able to develop a complete methodology of ‘Peaceful Activism’. The revolution he brought about was a practical one based on his ‘ideology of peace’. In view of the contribution made to human history by the Prophet of Islam, he can be most appropriately called the Prophet of peace. The great tragedy of Muslim history occurred over five centuries ago, when the study of Islamic sciences was separated from the other branches of knowledge (logic, Mathematics, Sciences (Physical, Behavioral, Social Earth, Biological, Medicine, Social and Technological Sciences), Humanities and Philosophy) in the Islamic learning institutions, considering it be evil and against the spirit of Islam. Jihad is a very important doctrine of Islam, which lays down guidelines and principles, to be adhered by a Muslim while striving against various forms of resistance, internal (against selfish desires and evil temptations) or external for the cause of Allah. Muslims are required to make persistent effort to serve the cause of Islam. That effort, whatever its future, falls within the meaning of the term “Jihad for the cause of Allah”. Terrorism has become an uncontrollable threat, weakening the foundations of Pakistan. In the suicide attacks many innocent lives are lost. Although all the leaders and media condemn the acts of terrorism, specially the suicide bombing, but there is need to do something more than mere condemnation. The main motivational factor to prepare the suicide bomber is the brainwashing of simple people through the religious indoctrination. The ordinary ignorant Muslims are prepared to be martyrs in Jihad, claimed to conducted for the cause of Allah. There are many questions which need to be emphasized by the scholars through media, specially the print and electronic media, in the language of potential suicide bombers (Pushto, Punjabi, Urdu) like; What is Jihad? What is the cause of Allah? Who is competent to organize and declare Jihad? How it is to be conducted? What are the rules, laid down by Qur’an and Hadith for conduct of Jihad? What is the role of government of Islamic Republic in this regards? These principles of conceptualization of faith can be summarized as follows:-
1. The Sense Perceptions: We have no doubts about anything that we can perceive through our senses we all accept this fundamental truth.
2. Reliable Report: Certainty about past and present events received through a reliable source is as reliable as the certainty we would have had if we had been present.
3. Number of Senses Not Fixed: We have no right o refuse the existence of certain things which are not perceptible thorough senses.
4. Imagination Limited by Senses: The human imagination is unable to encompass things which are beyond the reach of human senses.
5. Finite Cannot Grasp Infinite: The human mind, therefore, cannot go deeply into the realm of metaphysics. The human mind goes off balance when it tries to dominate the unlimited or infinite; it becomes the victim of impossible contradictions when it delves deeply into anything which is unlimited.
6. Faith Is Inborn: Faith in the existence of God is something which is inborn in every individual. It is a natural instinct and an urge-rather like the sexual drive. So we can say that man is an animal with a religion. This instinct may be overrun by physical desires, passion, ambition and craving for material comfort. However, when overcome by fear, danger or other crises, it rejects these desires and appears in its true and natural form.
7. The Inadequacy of Language: The human language lacks a better expression, with a wider scope and range of meaning, which would include the spiritual aspects of love pf God and His attributes, for which normal words do not express the actual meanings.
8. Existence of Hereafter (Metaphysics): The human self is always eager to rise to sublime heights, to an unknown world, the identity of which can only be acquired. Man becomes convinced, intuitively rather than intellectually, that this material life is not the ultimate goal and that there is beyond doubt another world beyond this. This subjective and psychological perception and intellect are the proofs of the existence of another world called Hereafter.
9. Divine Justice Demands Hereafter: The Lord of this universe is fair, and that anyone who is just will not allow for injustice. He will not let the oppressive person go unpunished, nor will he deny justice to anyone who has suffered unfairly in this world. Faith (Belief) in another world (Hereafter) is a natural consequence to the, belief in the existence of God.

Such negative perceptions has been created by the enemies of Islam, after having failed in the ideological front, however the cultural treatment meted to the women in some of the Muslim societies has provided the basis for such perception. Before the advent of Islam the status of women in earlier civilizations was very low to the extent that they were denied basic human dignity. A cursory look at that would highlight the respectable position granted to women by Islam. The women were degraded and were denied all rights under the Babylonian law. If a man murdered a woman, instead of him being punished, his wife was put to death. In the Greek Civilization, women were deprived of all rights and were looked down upon. In Greek mythology, an ‘imaginary woman’ called ‘Pandora’ is the root cause of misfortune of human beings. The Greeks considered women to be subhuman to the extent that they were considered impure, and they were bought and sold in marketplaces. A woman could not refuse a husband chosen by her guardian and she could not disobey her husband in anyway. Later, they acquired a somewhat batter status, but they remained inferior to men. Though chastity of women was precious, and women were held in high esteem, the Greeks were later overwhelmed by ego and sexual perversions. Prostitution became a regular practice amongst all classes of Greek society. When Roman Civilization was at the zenith of its ‘glory’, a man even had the right to take the life of his wife. Prostitution and nudity were common amongst the Romans. Under the Roman Empire, women did not have the right to own anything. If a woman had any property of her own, it was automatically transferred to the ownership of the head of the family.
